Where strategy became momentum.
Selected moments from more than a decade at the intersection of politics, industry and emerging technology.
Six moments. One way of working.
Each of these moments asked for a different mix of political judgment, stakeholder access, communication and execution. Together, they show how I work at the intersection of politics, industry and emerging technology - and how that has taken me from corporate milestones to being selected for the Federal Academy for Security Policy.
Turning a hangar opening into a political moment.
High-level attendance, built deliberately.
For the opening of a Volocopter's final assembly hangar, I developed the political guest strategy and coordinated the engagement needed to secure attendance by the German Federal Minister of Transport, the Minister-president of Baden-Württemberg, the Federal Coordinator for Aerospace, various state secretaries and MPs. Invitations, briefing materials and stakeholder outreach were aligned around one clear narrative: the industrial and political relevance of Advanced Air Mobility. The event became more than a corporate milestone - it created a credible moment of political visibility and dialogue.
Giving Advanced Air Mobility its own stage.
The first dedicated AAM Stage at ILA.
I conceived and organised the first Advanced Air Mobility Stage at the Berlin Air Show, turning a new technology field into a focused five-day programme. The work covered the format, agenda, speaker engagement and coordination across industry partners. By connecting technical, regulatory and political perspectives, the stage helped establish AAM as a serious industrial-policy topic rather than a distant concept. The topic gained such prominence that, during his opening tour, Chancellor Olaf Scholz became the first German Chancellor to take a seat in an air taxi.
Connecting digital innovation with security policy.
Selected for an expert field trip.
I was nominated to join the Federal Academy for Security Policy's expert field trip on “Digitalisation & Security Policy” in San Francisco. The programme offered direct exchange on the relationship between emerging technology, security interests and public institutions. I used those insights to sharpen the translation between innovation-driven industries and the priorities of German security policy. Even then, the delegation engaged with artificial intelligence in a very hands-on way - including a demo visit at Nvidia - and with its implications for the security and sovereignty of our countries. The programme also included visits to Meta, Cisco, Mozilla, the German Consulate General and Stanford.
Taking the company's case to an international policy stage.
A voice at the EU-India Aviation Summit.
At the Commissioner-level EU-India Aviation Summit in New Delhi, I represented the company on panels of exceptional seniority - sharing the stage with EASA directors, the head of the German air navigation service provider (DFS) and the chairperson of the Indian aviation authority. Holding my own in that company meant translating commercial ambition, technological potential and regulatory realities into a concise message for the most senior political and industry audiences, and strengthening the company's positioning where European and Indian aviation policy, market access and innovation cooperation met.
Turning strategy into a new corporate identity.
A full-company rebrand, led end to end.
I led a comprehensive corporate rebranding, including a new website and a coherent set of design guidelines. The process connected the company's strategic direction with a clearer public identity and more disciplined communications. By aligning leadership, content and visual expression, the rebrand created a stronger platform for customers, partners and policy stakeholders alike.
Building the political case for state support at exceptional scale.
Orchestrating a high-stakes lobbying effort.
I orchestrated lobbying activities aimed at securing a triple-digit million sum in state funding. The work combined stakeholder prioritisation, political access, executive messaging and a policy narrative focused on industrial value, technological leadership and public interest. It required daily coordination with stakeholders across federal and state politics - during the most intense phases including weekends. Ultimately, this led to direct conversations and decision papers reaching two federal ministers of the Scholz cabinet, creating the credible political conditions for a funding decision of exceptional scale.
A case begins with the right question.
If your organisation needs political traction, sharper positioning or a credible route into the German policy environment, let us compare notes.
